Most 2025 training is ONLINE. Training is free. Registration starts in April. Register via the MCSL site, and scroll down to the course you'd like. 

Classes start in mid-May, and end in mid-June.  

Most clinics will be held online.  Zoom registration links will be posted in early May on the MCSL officials page.

Stroke and Turn (S&T)

Clinics are tailored to newly certifying S&T and recertifying S&Ts. Registrations for recertifying S&T clinics will be checked to ensure attendees are eligible. Please attend the appropriate clinic:

• First time (new) S&Ts--This in-person clinic is tailored for Stroke and Turn officials certifying for the first time. Those certifying for the first time should attend. Recertifying officials are welcome to attend.
• Recertifying S&T--This clinic is for recertifying Stroke and Turn judges. Registrations will be checked to ensure attendees are eligible to attend.
• "Last chance" clinic (for new and recertifying S&Ts)--This clinic is for both first time and recertifying Stroke and Turn judges. This is the last Stroke and Turn Clinic for the season.

Starter--This clinic provides initial certification and recertification in the position of Starter.

Referee (newly certifying referees) --This clinic provides initial certification and recertification for Referees. Clinic content is tailored toward Referees certifying for the first time.

Advanced Referee--Attendees must be current or certification just expiring ('22' or later) in both Referee and S&T in order to be eligible to attend. This clinic will provide recertification for Referee and S&T. This clinic will also recertify Starters whose certification is current or just expiring ('22' or later). Registrations will be checked to ensure attendees are eligible to attend.
